Research and Development

In co-operation with various universities and research institutions we enhance our knowledge and thus our know-how in regard to  production technologies and new materials.

The products of our customers are representative for the "state-of-the-art" in their industries. They utilize the competencies of Hein & Oetting, since we also constantly strive to achieve the enhancement of our techniques and knowledge in order to be competitive and to produce high quality.

For this reason Hein & Oetting participates in a research project, for instance, of the initiative for clusters of excellence from the Federal state of Hamburg and works with regional  research institutions like Airbus and Rolls-Royce, GKSS, Formtec and Premium Aerotec, in the advancement of manufacturing - and joining processes dealing with the materials titanium and CFK (carbon fibre reinforced synthetic materials).

In another project we jointly work with the Institute for laser technology at the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg, ILas to develop a new laser generating technology for structural components.
