ILA 2010
"We think the ILA was a really hot air show (a very exciting event for us) - not just due to lots of very interesting new contacts, but also due to a heat of 38 degrees, which posed a real challenge for exhibitors and visitors alike and bonded us together", Lars Reeder sums up the first participation of his precision engineering company at the Berlin Air Show.
235.000 visitors had come to Berlin-Schönefeld from 8 to 10 June in order to see the innovations on display by the 1.153 exhibitors from 47 countries. During the air show contracts amounting to a total volume of at least 16,5 billion US dollars (approximately 14 billion Euro) were signed.
According to the motto "symbiosis - a formula for success of Hein & Oetting", the Hamburg-based company was present in the framework of the International Suppliers Center (ISC), at a joint stand with its co-operation partners.
"A joint (meaningful and strategic) appearance is more interesting for our customers and can illustrate synergy effects more efficiently", Reeder explains his concept of the trade fair, which was met by great feedback from the visitors.
Hein & Oetting co-operates with the Hamburg University of Technology and had exhibits of a new and innovative technology for manufacturing light-weight components for the aviation industry on display at the air show. Furthermore, MBA exhibited the "MLA 900 conductivity measurement equipment " at the ILA jointly with Hein & Oetting. Another partner at the joint stand was the Treo Laboratory for Environmental Simulation, with whom Hein & Oetting co-operates in the area of quality control and components approval.
"Apart from spectacular flight shows, the air show featured lots of interesting innovations which definitely made it worthwhile to come to Berlin to ILA. Those who could not make it this year, can visit us there in 2012 - we will most certainly participate again!" Lars Reeder already confirmed.
